My brother Dan and I run HC Snail, our shellfish growing business. We love it... being out in the fresh air, being physical, working on something that supports the health of Hood Canal, connecting with interesting people and selling our product to local restaurants. And making just a little money isn't a bad thing.
We ask ourselves whether we want to continue this retirement business when we're on the beach at midnight in December... so far, the answer has been YES!
